Enrolled in a Master’s Degree program  or Recently completed  a Master’s Degree
* TOEFL PBT450/IBT45 or equivalent
$4700 Fees + Course + Internship full placement
(Non-refundable $200 Application Fee)

Cohort 1 — Winter 2027

Classroom Instruction:
January 4–February 26, 2027

12-Month Internship:
March 1, 2027–February 29, 2028

No-Class Holidays During the Classroom Period:

• January 18, 2027 — Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• February 15, 2027 — Presidents’ Day

Cohort 2 — Summer 2027

Classroom Instruction:
May 3–June 30, 2027

12-Month Internship:
July 1, 2027–June 30, 2028

No-Class Holidays During the Classroom Period:

• May 31, 2027 — Memorial Day
• June 18, 2027 — Juneteenth Observed

Cohort 3 — Fall 2027

Classroom Instruction:
September 7–November 5, 2027

12-Month Internship:
November 8, 2027–November 7, 2028

No-Class Holidays During the Classroom Period:

• No classes are scheduled on designated MIM San Diego holidays.

Labor Day falls on September 6, 2027, before the first day of classes.

Program Structure

Each Master Internship Program cohort consists of:

• Approximately two months of classroom instruction
• A 12-month supervised internship
• Academic and internship performance evaluations
• Regular progress monitoring
• Required internship-related assignments and reports
• A final internship evaluation

Classes are not held on designated school holidays. Holidays are not counted as instructional days. Make-up classes may be scheduled when necessary to ensure that students complete all required classroom hours.

Internship schedules are established by the host organization and may include days when MIM San Diego’s administrative offices or classes are closed, subject to applicable program requirements and host-organization policies.
